Expanding its range of gaming monitors in India, Samsung has unveiled the 2023 line-up of Odyssey G9. It is an OLED gaming monitor that comes powered by Neo Quantum Processor Pro and is equipped with a DisplayHDR True Black 400. Samsung says that the gaming monitor boasts of next-level AI upscaling technology and has a massive 1800R curvature with 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 response time.
Samsung Odyssey G95SC OLED monitor comes in Black color and carries a price tag of ₹1,99,999. It can be purchased via Samsung’s official online store Samsung Shop, Amazon, and all leading retail stores. Launch offers include a no cost EMI purchase option with an instant cart discount of ₹3,500 on credit and debit cards of leading Banks.
Samsung Odyssey G9 measures 49-inch in size. As claimed by the company, it is the first OLED monitor to offer Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD; 5,120 x 1,440) resolution with a 32:9 ratio. The large and wide screen ratio enable users to lose themselves in super-ultra wide vistas — equivalent to two QHD screens side by side, Samsung adds.
The all-new Samsung gaming monitor is said to offer a rapid 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time and 240Hz refresh rate. Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 features a slim design housed within a sleek metal frame. On the rear of the monitor is the CoreSync and Core Lighting+ which uses advanced lighting technology to match the colors on-screen, making content more immersive and bringing the gaming experience to life.
The gaming monitor is equipped with built-in stereo speakers to complement on-screen content with crisp sound.
The Odyssey OLED G9 is also equipped with Auto Source Switch+ which allows the monitors to detect when connected devices are turned on. The gaming monitor boasts of world’s first DQHD OLED (5120×1440) resolution. The monitor supports smart features like Smart TV Apps, IoT Hub, and Voice assistant offering an enhanced gaming experience.
The Odyssey G93SC monitor comes with an aspect ratio of 32:9 ratio. The AMD FreeSync Premium Pro is claimed to offer smooth and fast action gameplay, reduce stuttering, input latency, and screen tearing even during the most intense moments.
