Redmi Note 7 Pro users in India are finally getting an Android 10 update. However, the update brings MIUI 11, not MIUI 12. Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S users are also reported to have received updates. The Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S updates have been said to come with the latest August 2020 security patch, while it is reported that the Redmi Note 7 Pro has received the July 2020 Android security patch.

The Android 10-based MIUI 11 update has reportedly been released for the Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, and Redmi Note 7S units in India. Twitter has been used to inform users in the country. The update for the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7S users was released in July but was reportedly withheld due to unknown reasons. The update has now been re-released with version number 184.108.40.206.QFGINXM. This new update comes with the August 2020 Android Security Patch and has been released in small steps.
The update version number for Redmi Note 7 Pro users comes with V220.127.116.11.QFHINXM. According to the screenshot shared by users on Twitter, this update comes with the July 2020 Android Security Patch, and its size is 2 GB.
