Redmi 9 Prime Launched with 5020mAh battery, Price 9999

The Redmi 9 Prime smartphone has made an entry in India as Xiaomi’s latest affordable smartphone. The specifications of the new smartphone are exactly like the Redmi 9 smartphone, which was launched in Spain in June. This phone is equipped with a Waterdrop-style notch display and MediaTek Helio G80 processor.

The Redmi 9 Prime smartphone is also equipped with a quad rear camera setup, which includes an ultra-wide-angle shooter. Talking about the key specifications, the Redmi 9 Prime smartphone includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 18W fast charging support, and infrared (IR) blaster. This phone will be available for purchase in four color options.

Redmi 9 Prime price in India, availability:

The 64 GB storage variant of the Redmi 9 Prime smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 in India, while its 128 GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999. You will get both variants of the phone in Space Blue, Mint Green, Matte Black, and Sunrise Flare Color Options. The sale of Redmi 9 Prime will begin in India from Amazon on August 6, which will be part of the Prime Day 2020 sale. In addition, it will soon be made available through mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Xiaomi’s retail partner.

Recall, the Redmi 9’s initial price in Spain was 149 euros (about Rs 13,200), which is the price of its 3GB + 32GB storage option. Its 4 GB + 64 GB storage option costs 179 euros (about 15,800 rupees). Its 3 GB variant was not brought to India.

Dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi 9 Prime phone will work on Android 10 based MIUI 11. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection with a 6.53-inch full-HD + IPS display. The phone is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, with 4 GB of DDR4x RAM.

The phone has a quad rear camera setup, with a 13-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens that offers a field of view (FoV) up to 118 degrees.
