Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro are set to launch in India on 3 September, Realme announced via an invitation sent to the media on Thursday. The Realme 7 series has been teased for a faster experience. To create some hype around the launch of Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, has changed his name by adding “Faster7” on Twitter. Sheth hinted at the India launch of Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro using the hashtag # BuildingTheFaster7 on the microblogging site last week.
According to the official invitation, the launch of Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro India will be on September 3 at 12:30 pm. The company will host a digital launch event on its social media channels to announce the introduction of the new model.

In addition to the invitation sent to the media, the Realme Twitter account has posted an image that shows the presence of 65W Superdart fast charging technology on Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro. The phone features a hole-punch display design.
Separately, an 11-second video clip has also been posted by Realme on Twitter indicating a faster experience than the current Realme 6 model.

In addition to the teaser posted by the Realme Twitter account, Flipkart has created a microsite suggesting the India availability of the Realme 7 series through the online marketplace. The microsite also shows that the phones have undergone TUV Rheinland smartphone reliability verification. Furthermore, it reveals that the Realme 7 series is capable of delivering up to 3.5 hours of voice calling or 13.2 hours of music playback in just three minutes of charge.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India has also taken to the microblogging site to give some details about the Realme 7 series ahead of his formal debut.
Although Sheth had already suggested India launch last week, he has now changed his name by adding Faster7 to his first name to do some publicity. He has also stated on Twitter that he will speak about the Realme 7 series during his AskMadhav virtual session in a few days.

Additionally, Sheth has shared a brief video suggesting the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor on the Realme 7 series. This is in contrast to the side-mounted fingerprint sensor available on Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro.
Sheth conducted a survey on Twitter earlier this week to understand whether his followers wanted an in-display fingerprint sensor or a side-mounted sensor. The mandate for the former option was found in that selection.

Apart from the hints of the in-display fingerprint sensor, details about the Realme 7 series are bleak at the moment. The rumor mill does not have much to help us understand what will happen to the new model.
That being said, the Realme 7 series is set to be the first successor to the Realme 6 series, including Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro which was both launched in India in March. The new models are also expected to be different from Realme X7 and Realme X7 Pro which are launching in China on 1 September.
