Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar are officially married. The couple tied the knot on Friday, July 16, in the presence of their families and friends. While pictures from the wedding ceremonies have been shared online, the bride and the bridegroom have now shared their ‘first selfie’ as a married couple.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, Rahul Vaidya shared a picture in which he and his wife, actor Disha Parmar posed for a quick picture. The couple smiled for the camera while they gave a closer glimpse of their wedding trousseau. Disha’s sindoor was also prominently visible in the picture. Sharing the picture, Rahul wrote, “First selfie as Mr & Mrs Vaidya.”
Rahul and Disha married a few months after the singer proposed to the television actor on national television. Rahul, who realised his love for Disha during his Bigg Boss 14 participation, had popped the question when he was still in the Bigg Boss house. After months of speculation, Disha said yes and appeared on the show to celebrate Valentine’s Day with him in February this year.
The couple’s wedding was attended by numerous close friends. Rahul’s Bigg Boss 14 buddies Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 stars Shweta Tiwari, Vishal Aditya Singh, Arjun Bijlani and Anushka Sen were among those present at the wedding reception.

Ahead of the wedding, Rahul had opened up about his and Disha’s honeymoon plans. Speaking to a leading daily earlier this week, Rahul had said, “I think we will go to Lonavla for our honeymoon (laughs!) because you can’t travel anywhere else owing to the pandemic. On a serious note, we are planning to go somewhere….let’s see. We will have to figure whether flights are operational and we get the visa.”
“We haven’t decided on a place yet, because after the wedding we just want to relax for a week and not do anything. Also, I have some prior commitments to finish first post the wedding. That’s why we are not rushing into it,” he had added.
