National Power Training Institute, a national apex body for training in power sector, has invited applications for various PG Diploma courses. The duration of the course is on year consisting of two semesters covering formal training at the institutes and industrial or field training. The courses cover the syllabus as per Indian Electricity rules.
The application forms are available on the official website of NPTI and the last date for submission of the forms is August 10.

The NPTI offers PG Diploma in power plant engineering, power management, power system operation, renewable energy and grid interface technologies and smart grid technologies.
Candidates with BE or BTech in the relevant disciplines can apply for the courses. Those appearing in their final year exam can also apply. However, they must submit their final degree or provisional degree certificate at the time of counselling, the NPTI has said.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the qualifying degree and interview conducted by the NPTI.
There is no age limit for pursuing the course.
