An update to some European Huawei P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ units is now being seeded bringing new features to the front-facing cameras. The update weighs 832MB and carries a built number of 10.1.0.147.
The new modes are Smart Eye Tracking, Super Night Portrait mode and dedicated low-light selfie mode.
The Smart Eye Tracking is pretty self-explanatory – it focuses on the subject’s eyes and keeps a focus on their face even when moving.

After turning the camera on and changing the front camera mode or video, the camera cleverly focuses on the human eye, and the focus moves with the movement of the human eye, providing smart and fast eye tracking so your eyes and face are always in the center of focus. Focus sensitivity and low-light focus speed are remote self-timer clear.
Super Night Portrait Mode 3.0
The new Super Night Portrait Mode 3.0 feature, which makes your selfie details in the night scene more refined, the skin tone more natural and a new zone at night.
